You need to be "safe" when using technology because
you never know what kind of predators are going
to be online. There are hackers on websites
that try to get your personal information. Some
just try to get you user names and passwords
and hack into your personal websites such as
myspace or facebook.

2)What other types of technology do we need to practice safety?

We need to practice safety on computers, cell phones,
palm pilots, chat rooms, email, instant messaging,
text messaging, picture messaging and web cams.

3)List 5 ways that you can be safe when using technology

a. Always be polite, and expect the same from others.

b. Set personal websites and online profiles to private.

c. Do not give out ANY personal information, nor ask for anybody else's.

d. Leave other peoples business to themselves.

e. Do not post any inappropriate photos, that would offend anyone,
or that could get you in trouble.
